"Change depends on me!" - This quote describes the main idea, which I believe in. It is the small steps of each one of us, which really do count - in our private lives, at work and in the broader context of our society. 

In the recent past I got more interested in environmental consciousness and questions on sustainability. Due to my profession I do travel quite a bit. In the year 2013 I bought CO2-climate certificates for the first time and doubled the amount as a donation, in order to somewhat balance my ecological footprint.
